Zemo Partnership\u2019s 20th Anniversary Conference and celebration reception Zemo 20:Zero takes place on Thursday 15 June at City Hall, London. Supported by the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, the event \u2013 called Zemo 20:Zero \u2013 has also been scheduled to coincide with national Clean Air Day 2023.<\/p>\n
It will review progress so far on the \u2018Road to Zero\u2019 in transport and focus on the decarbonisation challenges ahead. The conference will show the necessity of effective cross-sector & cross-party collaboration; and that the prescriptions for tackling climate change and air quality are inextricably linked.<\/p>\n
Zemo 20:Zero aims to celebrate what\u2019s been achieved so far, but also to bring together key stakeholders to explore what needs to happen in the next 20 years. You\u2019ll hear from key politicians, industry figures and environmental experts across all sectors and disciplines about their policies to tackle climate change and improve air quality.<\/p>\n
It will be hosted by Ginny Buckley, founder and CEO of Electrifying.com; reporter\/presenter on ITV\u2019s \u2018Tonight\u2019 & \u2018Men and Motors\u2019 and Channel 4\u2019s \u2018Dispatches\u2019.<\/p>\n

Coinciding with National Clean Air Day and with Scania among the sponsors, the event will review 20 years of the Zemo Partnership\u2019s collaboration between government, industry and experts, as well as looking ahead to accelerating progress towards zero-emissions targets. Founded as Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership in 2003 and renamed in 2021, Zemo Partnership aims to achieve net-zero road emissions by 2050.<\/p>\n
