The RHA was delighted to join in with UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) celebrations as it marks its 80th\u00a0anniversary.<\/p>\n
UKWA\u2019s CEO, Clare Bottle visited the RHA\u2019s Peterborough warehouse today (Monday 12 February). This is part of UKWA\u2019s Around Warehousing in 80 Visits \u2013 a national \u20182024 The Year of Warehousing<\/a>\u2019 campaign to celebrate the landmark and showcase the sector.<\/p>\n Richard Smith, RHA MD welcomed Clare to the \u2018RHA Shop\u2019. She tried out one of the transport body\u2019s truck simulators which it uses to help assess and train aspiring lorry drivers.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cI was delighted to welcome Clare to our warehouse today as part of UKWAs anniversary celebrations and glad that she tried out one of our truck simulators which are important tools to help us get more people behind the wheel.<\/p>\n \u201cOur respective members have much in common so it\u2019s vital that we work closely.
